Dozens of bridges across New York’s Erie Canal are about a century old – and are no longer in good condition.
Brockport, a small village outside Rochester is home to three of these bridges, all located within a half-mile stretch of the waterway. Carlet Cleare reports on how it’s going to cost taxpayers across the state millions to keep them operating.
